Refund policy
We take great pride in the quality of our luxury candles and want to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their experience.
Return Eligibility
Items are eligible for return if they remain unused, unburned, and in their original condition and packaging. The customer must notify Black Firefly Candles via email at returns@blackfireflycandles.com within 14 days of the transporter's delivery receipt and must have mailed the products to the return address provided in the email by Black Firefly Candles.
How to Start a Return
To begin a return, please email us at contact@blackfireflycandles.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
Once approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label via email along with packing instructions.
Return Shipping
- We provide a prepaid UPS, FedEx, or USPS label for eligible returns.
- Simply print the label, attach it to your package, and drop it off at the appropriate carrier location.
- Please ensure the candle is securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
Packaging Requirements
To protect the candle during return shipping, please:
- Use the original box and protective materials whenever possible.
- Place the item inside a sturdy shipping box.
- Seal the box properly with packing tape.
- Note that improper packaging resulting in damage may affect your refund eligibility.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If a candle is returned damaged due to insufficient packaging, a partial refund or no refund may apply.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your candle for another scent or size, please contact us at contact@blackfireflycandles.com. Return shipping is not complimentary and will be the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any damage or missing packaging once your order has been shipped. For any delivery concerns, kindly reach out to the appropriate carrier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, or USPS).
